The Jane Austen connection

Gosport boy Stephen Weeks was famous at 16 for The Hall Affair, back in the 1960s

The Hall was a protected early 19th century house close to Holy Trinity Church and facing the
18th century former governor's residence that had been visited by Jane Austen when her uncle lived there
